Completing Interior Painting Without Disrupting Daily Clinic Operations
DRL Coatings completed interior painting and surface preparation work for Affordable Dentures in Oklahoma City.
The project included approximately 14,000 SF of gypsum walls and ceilings, 1,000 SF of existing ceiling grid, and painting systems for hollow metal doors and frames using Sherwin-Williams coatings.
Because the clinic remained operational during normal business hours, the work had to be carefully scheduled and executed during nighttime hours, with each area completed, cleaned, and ready for use by the following day.

THE CHALLENGE
Night Work in an Active Clinic
The primary challenge was completing the interior painting scope during nighttime hours while maintaining the required project schedule.
The work also had to be performed with minimal disruption to the clinic’s daily operations, while protecting existing finishes, equipment, and occupied areas.

DRL Coatings carefully planned and performed the work during nighttime shifts to avoid interfering with normal clinic operations.
Each work area was closely coordinated to maintain productivity, protect existing finishes and equipment, and ensure the spaces were clean, complete, and ready for use the following day.
THE RESULT
The project was successfully completed within the required schedule while allowing the clinic to continue operating without disruption during normal business hours.
Each work area was completed, cleaned, and returned to service after every night shift, with consistent, high-quality finishes throughout the designated areas and zero safety incidents.
